Quotations are valid for up to 14 days only and after this time any special discounts or offers applied will not be valid.
Hungry Tums Catering will beat any written like for like quotations.
Special Offers any offers/discounts can be withdrawn at any time and without notice and cannot be used in conjunction with any other offer.
Only one discount offer can be applied per booking.
Any third party offers listed on this website are not the responsibility of Hungry Tums Catering and can be withdrawn at any time and without any notice given.
Prices are subject to change and without notice. All confirmed bookings will be exempt from any price increase if paid in full before any price increases occur.
Any booking that has a Third-Party company service included in their booking, and where any price increases happen these will be passed onto our clients regardless of if your booking has been part/fully paid. Notice will be given if this occurs.
All hot food is priced per adult with children up to 10 years old charged at half adult price.
Bookings are subject to availability and a surcharge may be applied for any bank/public holidays. All provisional bookings will be held for a maximum of 7 days, after this time your booking may be cancelled and made available to another client.
Business bookings are normally invoiced unless an alternative payment method is arranged. All business invoices are strictly on a 30-day net payment term unless otherwise agreed, payment can be made by BACS or by card.
Payments / Deposits all bookings will require a 25% deposit of the total amount due and must be paid in full to confirm and to secure it, where a deposit has been agreed to be paid in instalments (max 2) the balance of the deposit must be paid by the given agreed date, otherwise, your booking may be cancelled, and all monies paid will be lost. The balance of your booking is due in full no later than14 days before event date.
No cheques will be accepted on the day of the event.
All booking deposits are NON-REFUNDABLE
booking is at risk if you fail to settle the final balance and all monies will be lost in the event of this happening.
By making payment you are excepting our general Terms & Conditions.
Late payments Invoices that are not paid within the specified time as stated on your invoice will incur a late payment charge of £12.00 per invoice.
All payments can be made by cash/bank transfer only, cheques are only accepted by prior arrangement only.
Business invoices not paid in full within our payment terms will have an initial fee applied of £12.00 with additional daily charges at a rate of 1% for each day until the balance is fully paid.
Legal action will be taken on any unpaid invoice(s) over 60 days and all legal fees will be added to the outstanding balance owed.
Cancellations by you the customer requires a minimum of 28 days in writing if you wish to cancel your booking, if in the unlikely event Hungry Tums Catering cancels your booking, we will give you as much notice as possible, however for reasons beyond our control such as adverse weather conditions, sudden illness or transport/equipment breakdown as much notice will be given.
Any payments made by you the customer if you cancel your booking may be refunded minus any deposit paid, however, any bookings that are paid in full prior to your event will be subjected to the circumstances at the time of cancellation.
We have the right to withhold any payments made and use it for any future booking you may have or where we are unable to find an alternative booking which will lead to loss of earnings due to your cancellation.
Where a venue cancels your booking for any reason, we have the right to offer no refunds on any monies paid to Hungry Tums Catering, should you find an alternative date you wish to move to we may allow this but would be subject to our availability.
Business cancellations require a minimum of 2 days’ notice but if cancelled on the same day of an event/delivery a minimum charge of £25.00 will become payable.
Covid -19 Cancellations
If your booking is cancelled due to Covid-19, and you do not find an alternative date any monies paid will be refunded minus the deposit paid.
In the event, Hungry Tums Catering is unable to cater for you with your new date a full refund will be given within 60 days of notification.

Refunds / Compensation is at the discretion of Hungry Tums Catering if any refund/compensation is given and depends on the circumstances that surround it, this only applies to monies paid over the 25% deposit paid.
Dates/Venue/Guests Hungry Tums Catering cannot guarantee in the event of a date/venue change by you that we can fulfil your booking after you have booked and any monies paid may be lost, we require at least 14 days’ notice in such event.
We require the total number of guests at least 7 days before your event and after this time any amendments may not be allowed.
Venue Requirements / Location it is your responsibility to ensure that the kitchen and its facilities are in a satisfactory condition and has a minimum level of equipment that is fully working and safe to use, any equipment that is necessary that is brought to the venue may incur an additional charge. If the kitchen and its facilities are not to a satisfactory condition or hygiene standard, we have a right to refuse to use it.
We will, if necessary, inspect all venues and kitchen facilities and will advise you if any additional charges will apply to your booking.
Any venue outside the Ipswich area that has been requested to be inspected a charge may be payable.
Venue locations outside the Ipswich area will incur additional travelling charges and will be charged at £0.75p per mile.
Waste Removal is the responsibility of you and not Hungry Tums Catering to remove any waste (if required) from the venue after your event, in the case where the waste must be removed Hungry Tums Catering will charge you for this service which must be paid for in advance. Each refuge bag is charged at £5.00.
Staff must be always treated with respect by yourself and your guests. Any verbal/physical abuse will result in further action taken against any person involved and may result in any catering suspended
Deliveries will be delivered at the agreed time with yourself but cannot be held responsible for any delays beyond our control such as adverse weather conditions, transport breakdown, traffic or sudden illness.
IMPORTANT - Please read carefully
Where any delivery is within a restricted area or controlled by ANPR cameras, PERMITS or PARKING TICKETS it is the responsibility of our client/customer as named on the invoice to ensure these arrangements are in place and paid for prior to our arrival.
Failure to do so and any parking fines/enforcement notices issued against us, any monies owed will be requested for payment as agreed in these terms & conditions
Hot / Cold Buffets are the responsibility of you once delivered and to ensure that the food is kept at the right temperature and stored correctly and is consumed within 3 hours after delivery.
Weddings / Sit Down Meals / Itinerary all meals are tailored to your requirements as discussed at your booking.
Hungry Tums Catering will work to your itinerary but cannot be held responsible for any delays such as guest delays, speeches etc.
Any seating plan changes or non-guests on the day must be brought to Hungry Tums Catering attention immediately before service begins to avoid delays or confusion by staff and the running of the kitchen.
Any kitchen disruption by venue staff or guests wanting to use the kitchen or to collect items etc before or during your event which affects the service will be providing Hungry Tums Catering will not be held responsible for any delays this may occur.
In the event of this not happening Hungry Tums Catering will not accept any responsibility for any delays.
In the event of any kitchen accidents i.e., dropped food/shortages Hungry Tums Catering will rectify, if possible, otherwise, an alternative will be offered, or a refund of the missing item(s) will be given.
Hungry Tums Catering requires a minimum of 2 hours to complete a sit-down meal.
Table set up/setting is not the responsibility of Hungry Tums Catering unless this service has been booked and paid for in advance.
Barbecues will be set up in an open/sheltered outdoor space and is weather dependent.
Hungry Tums Catering will provide a shelter if required and in the case of severe weather or windy conditions, we have the right to postpone any service provided.
Tasting Sessions are available upon request; however, a small charge may be payable depending on your requirements and paid in cash on the day of tasting.
In the case where decide to book this payment will be deducted from your invoice.
The service we provide will be tailored to your requirements and any changes after booking may incur additional charges.
Special Requirements must be given prior to your booking and cannot be guaranteed in all cases.
Dietary / Allergies Hungry Tums Catering will need to be notified of any dietary/allergies at the time of booking, however, we cannot guarantee in all cases that all the products we use will be free from these.
Complaints must be notified as they happen on the day (if present) so they can be rectified immediately or within 24 hours by telephone and put in writing.
NO REFUNDS/COMPENSATION WILL BE OFFERED AFTER THIS TIME.
Loaned items by Hungry Tums Catering are subject to a minimum £25.00 security deposit which will be automatically added to your booking and is refunded on the condition that all items are returned/collected in the same condition as on delivery, any loss/damage will be deducted out of the damage deposit and if it exceeds the damage deposit paid an invoice will be generated for the outstanding amount.
Third-Party Hire is subject to a £100.00 security deposit and is refunded on the condition that all items are returned/collected and are free from loss/damage. Any loss/damages will be charged at the rate of repair/replacement.
Equipment failure all electrical equipment that is hired/loaned has been fully tested and is supplied in good working order.
If any breakdown/issues occur the hirer should contact Hungry Tums Catering immediately as they happen to make aware of any problems that they may be, failure to do so will result in no replacement equipment being offered as well as any refunds considered.
Any equipment supplied by the venue is not the responsibility of Hungry Tums Catering should any breakdowns occur while in use leading to delays or non-service.
If practical Hungry Tums Catering may attempt to source a replacement if reasonable to do so and would be subject to availability.
Cleaning Charges will be applied to all bookings requiring loaned/hired items at a rate of £0.10p per item. Glassware is charged at £0.15p per item. Where the venue is to supply any items for your event the same above cleaning charges apply.
Hungry Tums Catering is not responsible for any items supplied by its customers/venue which needs to be cleaned after use unless agreed at the time of booking and the correct charge applied for this service.
Collection charges are charged for all Hired/Loaned items that have been used for your event and a collection has been requested. The charges are as follows:
£5.00 within 10-mile radius of Ipswich with an additional cost of £0.75p per mile for each mile thereafter.
Any failed collections that have been requested & booked will incur additional charges.
Data Protection - We will process any personal data collected from the Customer for the purposes of administering the booking for the Event. We will not give your details out to any third parties
Other Terms & Conditions
Nothing in these terms & conditions shall exclude Hungry Tums Catering for personal injury or death caused by its negligence.
Hungry Tums Catering reserves the right to amend these general terms & conditions at any time and without notice.
